With COVID-19 cases still on the rise, students like me, athletes, employees, parents, and children are spending more time indoors. Personally, during my first few weeks of quarantining back in March, I was annoyed and thought about all the things I would've been doing if this health crisis never existed: attending in-person classes at school instead of having to use Zoom, playing soccer with my friends, going to the cinema, traveling around South Korea and so much more. Yet, in recent weeks, I realized the amazing opportunities I wouldn't have gotten if it wasn't for COVID-19. Due to the coronavirus, I'm actually able to spend more time with my siblings, who will be off to college next year, and my parents, who I won't be able to see for another year once school starts again. Also, with so much time to myself, these past weeks have been the perfect time for me to reflect on different social issues, try new activities such as making podcasts, and invest more time on other hobbies like blogging! As the quote above mentions, there's always something positive waiting for you despite the challenges you face today. "An entire sea of water can't sink a ship unless it gets inside of the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can't put you down unless you allow it to get inside you." - Goi Nasu
Happy Monday to all of you and have a wonderful week :)
