The legendary Jamaican sprinting star, Usain Bolt, will remain with Central Coast Mariners after rejecting an offer of a two-year contract from Malta. The Maltese Premier League Champions coach, Valletta, had anticipated to bring in the 100-meter and 200-meter world record holder to Europe rather than leaving the player in Australia. Nevertheless, Usain Bolt's agent, Ricky Simms, told the news that the athlete had no interest in moving.

The eight-time Olympic sprinting champion, 32-year-old Bolt turned his attention to soccer after retiring from athletics last year. He claimed before, "I really want to try soccer after I retire because I've watched football over the years and I think I can I could be a good contender."
He trained and got use to soccer with these teams:
- Borussia Dortmund (German Club)
- Mamelodi Sundowns FC (South African Club)
- Stromsgodset (Norweigan Club)
Time with these three clubs allowed Usain Bolt to become fit before moving into a trial with the Central Coast Mariners, an Australian A-Leauge team.
The king of sprinting was mainly seen as a forward that can score goals. Last week, he was able to score two spectacular goals for the Australian side in a friendly match.
After the match came to an end, Bolt posted a video of his goal on social media and stated, "Dreams become reality through hard work." Nonetheless, the coach Mike Mulvey hasn't made it clear whether or not Bolt will continue his soccer career with the Mariners. A week remains until the Australian A-League, yet the coach has still refused to mention Bolt's permanent contract. Despite the contract, it is evident that Bolt has a strong desire to play in the A-League.
Usain Bolt told Fox News, "I'm happy I could come here and show the world I'm improving." Honestly, I strongly believe that Usain Bolt is an amazing athlete as he transitioned perfectly from sprinting into the world of soccer. Soccer is a sport that requires endurance and stamina, and it is clear that Usain Bolt has worked arduously to obtain these traits.
Keep it up Usain Bolt!
