Basic Information of Day:
- Date of Match: October 7th, 2019 (Wednesday)
- Played Box-to-Box Midfielder
- Played against Friends' Central School (Away)
- Final Score: 1-6 Win
Positive Points about Today's Game:
- Clear Dominance in both the first half and second half
- Great Possession against a weak opposition defensive line
- Nearly won every aerial duel throughout the match
- Several through-balls played and created goal-scoring opportunities
- Smooth transition from counter-attacks to defense setting
- Was able to bounce back straight after a mistake that tied the game 1-1
- Overall Possession Percentage was around 95% (Lawrenceville) to 5% (FCS)
Negative Points about Today's Game:
- Only played 20 minute-halves due to the weather conditions
- Long bus ride made it harder to get ready
- Mistake with communication led to our team conceding a goal
- After dribbling past the defensive line, I constantly played the ball out to the wingers, when I could have gone for a shot
- Occasional inaccurate clearance in defensive and middle areas
Main lesson learnt for future games:
"We have 20 minutes. Let's run our ass off!" - Alex Chun (Captain)
